30 Day Challenge, Day 4: Your Views on Religion
For the people who don’t know me out in the real world, I’m LDS, or Mormon. I’ve grown up with certain morals, a list of guidelines to keep me from straying of the straight and narrow path and I don’t know where I would be without my religion. God has intervened in the most crucial of times for me. I went through all my milestones at an early age. Walking and talking by nine months, reading by the age of three and the hormone imbalance triggered at the age of eleven. I hit my pubescent adolescence at the same time and returned to ‘normal’ at the age of seventeen, giving my mother her best friend.
In the toughest times of my life, I looked to God for answers and comfort, receiving both in enormity. I rely on Him for everything and I know that He is there for me at all times. All my talents, all my blessing; everything I have been given, I owe to Him. I go to church every Sunday to partake of the Sacrament and to feel His Spirit. I feel extremely blessed to have been given this opportunity in my life to know His desired path for me.
